Zhang Wenhua is mainly engaged in fire standard management and fire research. She has headed or participated in more than 20 research programs, including subjects supported by the National Sci-Tech Support Plans during the Twelfth and Thirteenth Five-Year Plan Periods, the special research programs of national science research institutes, the Ministry of Public Security, and the former Fire Department of MPS. Furthermore, she has obtained 4 patents for utility models and been the main editor of GB 50261 Code for Installation and Commissioning of Sprinkler Systems and the co-editor of GB 50084 Code for Design of Sprinkler Systems.
